The issues I see in these comments do not inspire enough confidence in me to sign up for a somewhat expensive program.
Hi Amanda, thanks for the feedback. The 90 Day Dawn is undergoing updates to improve the experience. The quizzes are disabled for most of it but the content is helpful and available. I hope you find some value in the course.
I can’t scroll down the module list on the left with my MacBook trackpad. So I can’t even browse past Module 2.
Thank you for letting us know. We’ll have a look at this issue.
Lessons 3 &4 in module 2 quizzes are not functioning correctly. I marked the correct answer but the quiz still marked in incorrect. Just want to let you know the bug.
Thank you for letting us know Luis. I’ve sent your feedback to the education committee for correction/review.
I really like ADDA, and started out on this course happily; the software keeps looping me back to section 3 I’ve already completed, and I can’t seem to continue forward. Any help?
Thank you for the feedback Sue. We’ll have a look at this.
I registered with ADDA on May 29 and started the course that very same week. The validation and guidance is medicine in itself. 🧠
What determines the 90 days? There is no information about the suggested pace of the course; the lack of explanation is frustrating,
I’d say the “90 days” is an achievable aspirational goal. Some modules will be easier and faster than others. Some will be game changers and some irrelevant.
We’re all unique and your mileage may vary. As the saying goes, “when you’ve met one person with ADHD, you’ve met one person with ADHD.” I wish I had something like this when I’d been recently diagnosed. Rick W
That is such a good question, Liz. You may notice a few changes since you posted this in May. Expect to see more changes to the language that add clarity and consistency.
Ditto. I can’t seem to navigate this site. I don’t think this is due to any pathology (adhd or otherwise) The starter kit…never came. The logins don’t work. I HAVE HOWEVER RECEIVED MULTIPLE EMAILS SOLICITING COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS. I am so disappointed.
Hi Cele, sorry to hear about the difficulties you are having with the site. We’re making improvements regularly so things should start to feel more easy to use on the site. We are grateful for the patience of mobile users especially. If you don’t want to receive the promotional emails, let info@add.org know and they’ll get you off the main list. Most of those emails you mention are ways we fundraise for the organization with additional events which are a mix of internal and externally run workshops.
I related so much to the volunteer shares. I remember my first and last solo trip outside the US. I was so excited I doubled checked everything, only to realized I had left the country with no wallet. I had my passport, my ticket (it was back in the day, so it was printed) and no money, no bank card, no credit card. I spent the trip feeling like an idiot and thinking I was never going to be able to any kind of real adult.
I just got back from a 4-day convention that I have to manage for work. the number one thing in GIANT letters that I had on the packing list to make sure I didn’t forget it was the cord to one of my laptops. it’s a very specific kind and you can’t just plug any type into it. I rarely run them purely from a battery charge, so the first time I needed to use it, I practically tore apart my hotel room looking for the cord. turns out it was the ONLY thing I didn’t have. had 2 other laptops (thank goodness), 5 mice (only 2 of which worked, as it happened lol), 2 static digital cameras, 1 video camera, several tripods, 4 flash drives, countless HDMI and USB cords, a 60″ tv to display conference information and a bunch of other stuff. but no main laptop cord. ARGH!! it’s funny NOW, anyway LOL.
You are not alone! I’d be lying if I did not admit to the same kind of issues, and particularly in my mid 40’s & 50’s.
