  3. ADHD Coaching with Scrum
Address:
1517 Waller St, Apt 6 94117
Description:

I am a queer, neurodivergent, San Francisco-based Scrum Master and Agile Coach with 20 years of coaching experience. Although I employ many of the same methods practiced by other ADHD coaches, my core strength (and differentiation) is the adaptation of Scrum methodology to navigating life and work as a neurodivergent, non-traditionally employed person. I work only with adults, my clients are mostly (but not exclusively) women.

Scrum is an iterative, empirical methodology for getting things done under conditions of risk, uncertainty, change, and interruption. As such, it is particularly well-suited to both entrepreneurship and living with ADHD. It is also the primary approach used to launch new businesses and products in the modern world. I have extensive training, teaching, and applied practice with this methodology as a result of my career in Silicon Valley’s IT industry.

I also have ADHD and have know this since 2002. But (since there was little available for adult women at the time) I developed a Scrum-based method (“Agile4ADHD”) which I’ve been using and refining for the past 15+ years. It is this approach (plus my “giant collection of hacks” curated over a lifetime of navigating the world as an ND person) that I offer as the foundation of my coaching service. It’s worked well for me, and I can make it work for you.

My approach is direct, practical, evidence-based, and action-oriented. I like weird people, and meet clients *where they are*, aiming to deliver a few quick wins that will produce measurable results and build confidence. We then iterate to develop a personalized methodology that works *with* the nature of your unusual mind, not against it.

More information about Agile4ADHD – as well as a free tutorial so you can try it out – can be found on my website.
