As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Alicia is dedicated to providing mental health support through a neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed lens. Her practice is grounded in providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy for neurodivergent individuals, as well as those struggling with complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use.
Alicia utilizes attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to tailor her approach to the unique needs of each individual. Her commitment to client-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care ensures that all individuals are supported in a manner that respects their cognitive and emotional experiences.
With extensive experience managing dual diagnosis programs across residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings, Alicia has developed comprehensive clinical curricula and delivered training on ADHD, autism, strengths-based interventions, and neurodiversity-affirming care. She is passionate about advocating for inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming practices within the mental health field.
Alicia is a Program for the Education & Enrichment of Relational Skills Certified Provider, Learn-Empathize-Agree-Partner Certified Trainer, and an Advanced Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist. She has a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology degree from Vanguard University and a Bachelor of Art in Psychology degree from Concordia University.
