We all want positive change and we all want to live a life full of meaning. Yet the ADHD experience can inhibit the change process disrupting the ability to create new awareness and develop new habits. Positive change can only happen when what needs to change is identified and effectively engaged. To do so we need a way to illuminate the ADHD awareness gap and get curious about the breakdowns we experience and build bridges to close the gap. ADHD is, in part, a mechanical challenge affecting regulation, control and management. Viewing ADHD challenges through a process-rich lens can help individuals understand the mechanical nature of the disorder. Articulating ADHD is an important early step in the change process to explore and identify how ADHD manifests itself for the ADHD individual. ADHD coach, trainer and blogger Cameron Gott weaves personal story, humor and proven coaching techniques to illustrate this process of building awareness to better effective engagement.
