The webinar will be begin with roughly 40 min presentation on ways to more effectively communicate as, or with, a person with ADHD, followed by a 15-20 min open Q&A to more deeply explore the communication challenges that ADHD can present.
Learning Objectives:
- After participating in this session, attendees will be able to differentiate between the various ways people communicate, and will be able to make informed decisions about when to use each in order to better communicate with ADHD in the mix
- After participating in this session, attendees will better understand the ways that ADHD and emotional dysregulation can undermine communication
- After participating in this session, attendees will recognize the role that cognitive processing and emotional processing play in communication conflicts
